The Defence Club has six beautiful and well maintained grass courts, two lit hard courts as well as a practice wall for beginners. Coaching facilities by I.T.F. qualified coaches for beginners and intermediate tennis players are available.
The Lawn Tennis Courts at the Defence Club are a source of pride for the entire community.
Over a period of time, these Courts have become an international venue. The Club has hosted many prestigious tournaments, including the Davis Cup ties in Pakistan. Some other tournaments held include National Grass Court Championship 2004, International Tennis Club Championship 2004 between India and Pakistan, Davis Cup Ties of 2005 and 2006, I.T.F. Series 2005 and Pakistan / India Friendship Series 2006 beside many a inter Club tournaments. The Club’s Tennis Courts also foster a very healthy local tennis playing community. Most of the Tennis playing members appear at the Club daily, making tennis at Defence Club an integral part of their day. After a vigorous game, members enjoy a cup of a tea in the Tennis Lounge overlooking the lush green lawns / scenic Club view.
